Common questions
How much does it cost?
£9.99 a month, or £99 a year, which is two months free. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a card to start. Cancel any time from the Business tab.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your quotes, invoices and customers stay in your account. You can still view and export them, but you can't create new ones until you subscribe again.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Hi-Stripe runs in your phone's web browser. Open it, tap "Add to Home Screen", and it opens like any other app.
What if I've got no signal?
Keep quoting. Everything is saved on your phone straight away and syncs to your account when you're back in signal.
Can I use it on my phone and my computer?
Yes. Sign in on both and your quotes, customers and prices are the same on each.
Who can see my customers and prices?
Only you. Each business's data is kept separate and private to its own account. Read our privacy policy for the details.
Can I send invoices as well as quotes?
Yes. Turn an accepted quote into an invoice in one tap, or start one from scratch. Invoices show your bank details and payment reference, and you can see at a glance what's unpaid, overdue and paid.
Can I book jobs in a calendar?
Yes. Pick a date and time on any accepted quote and it appears in your Hi-Stripe calendar, alongside follow-ups and invoices due. You can send any job to your phone's own calendar with one tap.
I'm VAT registered. Does it handle VAT?
Yes. Switch VAT on, add your rate and VAT number, and it's added to every quote and invoice. If you're not registered, they say "No VAT charged".
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export a full backup of your quotes, customers and prices at any time from the Business tab.
